How to Change: Hint; it’s all about frequency, intensity and patterns. (Part 2)

Supplemental Training

In a previous post, I talked about change as a vibrational shifting process and probably left you hanging without much detail.

So, what is this vibrational shifting process?  And how can you harness and direct this energy to get what you want?

I believe (like the string theorists and the ancient wisdom sages),  that at our fundamental core, we are vibration… which is to say, we are in the process of continually vibrating. There’s ongoing vibration from the sub-atomic level all the way up the physical chain, which includes sensations you can actually feel… like a pulsating heart or butterflies in the stomach.

I further hypothesize that this vibrating energy changes in frequency, intensity and form in reaction to both the internal and external environment in which we live.  On the gross level, we might experience this as a change in mood, attitude, thought or emotion.  On a subtler level this may be experienced as shifts in neuronal firing, blood chemistry, hormonal fluctuations or immune changes.

We kind of know all this already… whatever we’re doing, thinking, saying or feeling… whether we’re stressed or meditating, the body-mind-spirit complex is reacting, learning and changing.

So how can we harness this vibrational shifting to create lasting change?

Ok here comes my kaleidoscope metaphor, which I hope  clarifies this theory a bit more.

So, you know how the patterns of kaleidoscope shift with one small flick of your wrist?  I imagine that once the change process hits critical mass, global shift happens.  This means that once enough small, almost imperceptible changes have occurred on the micro level, the macro shifts into action and you get a hit on the sensation radar.

So in real life terms… say you’re in a stressful environment.  The cells, immune system, neurotransmitters and all the usual players are on full alert and moving into action… small internal changes are being made, out of awareness; then suddenly you feel it… racing heart, pit of the stomach anxiety, constricted chest, tight muscles. You get the picture.  You know something has shifted because you FEEL it.

But here’s the thing, if the small internal shifts are intense and frequent enough, the kaleidoscopic pattern might fall into a holding pattern.

That would translate into all tension you might feel when you’re stuck in chronic stress… or anger, depression, anxiety and even addiction.

But what if you could create holding patterns for joy, bliss, vitality, clarity and all the other qualities that add up to a life well lived?
