Here’s How the Process Works
You’ll Start by Mapping Your Goals With ITC
Developed by Harvard professors Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey, ITC is a research-based framework designed to reveal and address the hidden beliefs and commitments that maintain anxiety.
Backed by over 30 years of research, ITC offers a structured mapping process to identify and test the mental frameworks keeping you stuck.
This map doesn’t just reveal what’s holding you back – it also provides a foundation for designing practical, real-world tests to challenge and disprove these assumptions.
After completing your map, the process evolves through behavioral tests—specific, real-world actions designed to test and challenge these assumptions.
As you engage with these tests, you’ll experience tangible shifts in how you move through the world. Best yet, it provides a robust framework, supporting your continued success long after the program ends
Deepen With ACT Strategies
To support this work, the core processes of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) help you develop a more flexible relationship with anxious thoughts and feelings, step back from mental struggles, and focus on what truly matters.
By connecting with your values, ACT equips you to navigate ITC’s real-world tests with focus and commitment, helping you transform challenges into actionable progress.
Integrate with, Meditation, Subtle-Body Practices and Yoga Nidra
Anxiety isn’t just in the mind—it’s felt in the body. Guided body-based practices provide a safe space to calm the nervous system, reduce resistance, and create clarity.
Integrated with ITC and ACT, these practices support lasting mental, physical, and emotional transformation by aligning the mind and body on a deeper level
Guided Meditation provides centering and visualizations that induce stillness, and a profound state of relaxation that refreshes the mind, reduces stress, and releases limiting beliefs
Subtle-Body Practices use gentle movements and breathwork to release tension, calm the nervous system, and create a sense of grounding and balance.
Yoga Nidra, or “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditative journey that takes you into the subconscious mind, where habitual patterns and beliefs are stored. This deeply immersive process allows you to release what no longer serves you, fostering clarity, insight, and emotional integration.
Feel Supported, Inspired, and Motivated by the Collective Energy of the Group
The group’s energy creates an environment of encouragement, support, and fresh perspectives, reducing isolation and fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose – helping you navigate challenges and uncover new possibilities.
Here’s How the Group is Structured
Weeks 1 – 2
Build and refine your ITC map—clarify key goals, uncover counterproductive behaviors, and expose hidden commitments and assumptions driving distress and blocking change.
Weeks 3-7
Develop and implement practical, real-world experiments throughout the week to test your assumptions in a way that feels safe, doable, and practical. These action steps help challenge limiting beliefs, uncover growth opportunities, and build momentum as you share insights and receive feedback and encouragement from the group.
Week 8
Reflect on the results of your experiments, adjust assumptions, and integrate these changes into everyday life to cultivate lasting growth and progress.
