How to Live Life Well

by | Dec 18, 2023 | Living Well | 0 comments

What would life be like if you lived fully aligned with who you really are?

Think about it.

·       How would you feel, speak, think and act?

·       What could you achieve?

·       How would you relate to others?

·       How would your world and your future be different?

Stop for a moment and give the above questions some thought. Really visualize, allowing yourself to feel into each scenario. Pay attention to what comes up.

Ancient wisdom, modern neuroscience, and even cutting-edge wealth-building systems agree on a single point: the key to success, abundance, and happiness is based on one simple principle: KNOW YOURSELF.

If you don’t know yourself, you will actually be living someone else’s life. It might be the life your culture or family designed for you or the life you thought would bring you happiness, but it won’t be genuine, authentic, and compelling.

The good news is you are already wired to access everything you need to know to be happy, abundant, and successful.  It’s buried just beneath the surface of ordinary life, waiting to be uncovered.  Wisdom teachings tell us that the extraordinary is always found in the simple, ordinary, and often overlooked.

Your job is to:

·       Show up and find out what you already know

·       Use body, mind, and spirit and to find out more

·       Clean up the stuck places

·       Strengthen what’s working

·       Align your actions with what you are discovering

·       Do the best you can with the resources you have now.

The big question that self-help gurus often miss is HOW, exactly, do you discover what you know, align with it, and grow your personal resources? And once you start, how do you keep it going, stay on track, and monitor your progress?

This can seem like an overwhelmingly complicated business, but in fact, it’s simple, basic, and straightforward… although it’s not easy.

Over the years, I’ve developed an approach I call “MindBodyEnergyTechnology,” which targets the “HOW TO” aspect of self-knowledge with five simple strategies.

·       Observe

·       Inquire

·       Clarify and simplify

·       Practice

·       Take action

Each strategy focuses on how you organize your life and structure your experience.  Each is designed to deepen the preceding one; however, they are also interdependent, so focusing on one activates the others. Once you learn the system, you can start anywhere and get results.

The important point is learning to look under the radar and engage directly with the patterns of HOW you think, speak, feel, and act. Since most of these patterns have been running the show without your awareness, seeing this in action is usually quite a shock.

Taking back control begins with identifying the underlying beliefs and false assumptions that keep your unresourceful patterns in place. From there, MBET uses personalized practices to push the edges, activate your inherent strengths, and help you align action steps with what truly has value and meaning for you.
